About Us
“Two Outs, So What” was the 1995 Seattle Mariners theme
which meant: we can still hit and score runs even with the
adversity of having two outs.
At Allied Hearing Aid Specialists we believe that people can
have the same overcoming attitude about their hearing loss.
It’s no big deal; just come to our office, take care of it, and go
about your life with less stress, better relationships, and
more confidence.
We also believe in naps, music, yodeling, and that the
Seattle Seahawks were robbed by the officials in Superbowl
XL against the Pittsburgh Steelers in 2006.
HEARING LOSS? SO WHAT?
Allied Hearing Aid Specialists was founded April,1990 in
Centralia, Washington by Randy Parr. They added a second
office in Longview, Washington in 1991. In 1992 they bought
an office in Chehalis, Washington and moved the Centralia
office there. The Chehalis office operated until January, 2018
when it was sold. Randy now works full time at the Longview
location.
Randy Parr is not only the owner of Allied Hearing Aid
Specialists, he’s also a patient. Having normal hearing when
he was first licensed as a Hearing Aid Specialist in 1986,
Randy discovered hearing loss two years later. In 1991 he
was fit with his first hearing aid. Due to a series of cochlear
events over the years that doctors guess was caused by
autoimmune disease, Randy now wears very powerful, latest
technology hearing aids in both ears and still has difficulty
understanding words. Please have patience if he asks you to
repeat.
Of course, it is subject to interpretation, but we’re pretty sure that
one could extrapolate from the above quote by deep thinker,
Albert Einstein, that if you have hearing loss and you have access
to someone who has years of experience in both fitting AND
wearing hearing aids, the smart move would be to call Allied
Hearing Aid Specialists today.
