Wanna be a Hearing Aid Specialist in Longview WA?
HELP! I’m old and looking for one entrepreneurial-minded person to take over my hearing aid practice. My name is Randy Parr, I’m a Christian, and I’ve been licensed to fit hearing aids since 1986. This role covers a lot of ground: testing hearing, fitting hearing aids, providing follow-up care, direct sales, and marketing. It’s a hands-on job that blends technical skill with personal service. The catch?—It’s difficult for a new person to break into the field. Several years ago, a powerful group in our industry pushed through RCW 18.35.040—A regulation that imposes barriers to entry, discouraging fresh talent from joining the field. Now, to become a licensed Hearing Aid Specialist in Washington State, you must either: 1. Already hold a 2-year degree (or higher) and complete a 9- month hearing aid course, or 2. Pass a 2-year college course (available remotely through Spokane Falls Community College).
These requirements stop most people cold, but God orchestrates situations matching the right person, with the right opportunity, at the right time. Wanna know more? Fill out the form below.
